All AIRPURION systems and PURION UV sets for tank and surface disinfection can also be equipped with a shatter protection.

Thanks to a special UVC-permeable coating, no glass shards can enter the irradiation chamber or the medium to be treated in the event of a lamp or quartz protection tube breakage. The innovative “PURION process” has further improved this technology. The shatter protection is applied only to the quartz protection tube, allowing optimal UV-C output and excellent usability.

Shatter protection is especially important for use in food production and processing.

Additional advantage:

The lamps can still be replaced in the usual manner. The compact design allows for easy and tool-free lamp removal and replacement, for example, at the end of the lamp's service life.
