Irradiating water with ultraviolet (UV) light, the oldest and most natural disinfection method, offers optimum protection against infectious diseases. UV light reliably inactivates pathogens and works without the formation of harmful by-products. The decisive factor for water disinfection with UV light is the avoidance of chlorine as a disinfectant and the chlorine compounds produced during chlorination.
PURION UV systems are characterized by an extraordinarily high disinfection performance with a compact design and low energy consumption. Our UV systems are designed in accordance with applicable laws, standards and guidelines. PURION® UV systems are used for drinking water up to 3m³ and pools (etc.) up to 20m³. The UV lamps used are characterized by a long service life, high disinfection performance and low energy consumption. The compact design allows easy lamp removal from the immersion tube. At the end of their service life, the lamps can be easily replaced. We ran PURION UV systems in stainless steel approved for drinking water.

THE STRUCTURE OF OUR UV SYSTEMS
PURION® UV SYSTEMS can be easily integrated into the existing water supply. The water to be treated flows through the flow-optimized housing and is guided along the lamp. The UV light inactivates the bacteria and viruses, rendering them harmless.
