AQUACULTURE & AQUARISTICS
UV-based disinfection of water in aquaculture breeding inactivates algae and bacteria without chemicals and without changing the water characteristics. PURION UV systems made of stainless steel and PVC-U are used, for example, in one of Germany's largest marine aquariums, the Zella-Mehlis marine aquarium is one of the largest German marine aquariums.
PURION UV systems as inline systems are designed for various pool sizes and reliably reduce the activity of phototrophic microorganisms ("blooming of the water"). In addition, diseases caused by parasites are prevented.
