PURION® 2001 PVC-U

PURION® UV systems are characterized by an extraordinarily high disinfection performance with a compact design and low energy consumption. They are designed in accordance with applicable laws, standards and directives.

The PURION 2001 system is made of PVC-U.

It is used for the sterilisation of circulating water from pools after filtration up to a pool volume of 30,000 litres and a transmission (or turbidity) of the water of at least 90% per cm. Another area of application is fish ponds up to a size of 30,000 litres with continuous circulation.

The UV lamps used are characterised by a long service life, high disinfection performance and low energy consumption. The power supply can be supplied with 230 V/50 Hz or 110 V/60 Hz.

The compact design allows easy and tool-free lamp removal and lamp replacement, for example at the end of the lamp's service life. The quartz immersion tube can also be removed or fitted without tools for cleaning purposes.

The water to be treated flows through the housing and is channelled along the quartz immersion tube in which the lamp is mounted. The water film thickness of just 27.5 mm, i.e. the distance between the UV light outlet on the quartz tube surface and the inside wall of the housing, guarantees optimum penetration of the medium by the UV light, which inactivates all bacteria and viruses, rendering them harmless.
