PURION® SYSTEMS FOR SALT WATER

For applications with salt water, particularly in the maritime sector, it may be advantageous or required by regulations to design the PURION UV systems in PVC-U or polypropylene. The materials used by PURION are UV-resistant. The system design ensures the same disinfection performance as the stainless steel versions.

The systems are designed for an irradiation dose of 400 J/m², which corresponds to the specifications of the Drinking Water Ordinance and guarantees a disinfection rate of 99.99% if the specified flow rate is not exceeded.
