PURE WATER
Ultrapure water is required in many areas, e.g. in the manufacture of medicines, for injection fluids, in medical research, in chemical analysis and in the manufacture of computer chips and integrated circuits. Ultrapure water is usually produced using the reverse osmosis process and ion exchangers and always requires post-treatment with UV systems to prevent recontamination.
The systems in the PURION® series for ultrapure water disinfection are made of electropolished stainless steel approved for use with drinking water. They are supplied ready to plug in with connection cable and safety plug. The systems are designed for an irradiation dose of 400 J/m². If a higher dose is required, these systems can also be equipped with other lamps.
All systems can also be equipped with an operating hours and/or UVC intensity monitor.
