On August 29, 2010, PURION GmbH held a workshop with a delegation from Mozambique at the Artefact Institute in Glücksburg. First, a theoretical introduction was given on the basics of the principle of UV technology.

Then, in the practical part, a UV system was installed and the potential possibility of operation with solar power was demonstrated. Overall, the participants were made aware of the possibilities of UV technology in the field of water treatment.

PURION GmbH also donated a test system for further demonstration purposes at the Artefact Institute.
