Warranty regulation for PURION UV low-pressure lamps

PURION® GmbH grants the following guarantee on UV low-pressure lamps supplied in the event of complaints:
 

• The basis for the decision on a replacement is the evaluation of the lamp at PURION® GmbH. This means that all complaints must be sent to PURION® GmbH.
• The warranty period is 10,000 operating hours for UV low pressure lamps, 8,000 for UV amalgam lamps, or a maximum of 2 years from the date of delivery.
• Up to 1,000 hours the lamps will be fully replaced.
• Up to 10,000 hours, UV low-pressure lamps will be replaced on a pro rata basis in relation to the burning time.
• UV amalgam lamps will be replaced on a pro rata basis in relation to the burning time up to 8,000 hours.
• Unless otherwise specified, the number of starts is set at 5-6 per day.
• The burning time and the number of starts must be verified by suitable measures.
• The lamp must be operated on ballasts supplied by PURION GmbH or the ballast must have been tested by PURION GmbH.
• Broken glass will not be replaced

If no separate agreements have been made, these conditions shall apply. Special arrangements must be made in writing.
