Compact system Tropenbox Passive
Thanks to its extraordinary efficiency, high drinking water flow rate of 400 l/h, small dimensions and low weight, the "PURION Tropenbox active" is ideal for both acute and long-term use in regions with massive drinking water problems.
A built-in fuse (automatic) provides additional protection for the entire system. Furthermore, a pressure-controlled pump is integrated, which switches on when the tap is opened and switches off again when the tap is closed. The pump is only activated by the main switch approx. 20 seconds after the UV lamp has been switched on; water cannot be drawn off before this time. The systems are designed for an irradiation dose of 400 J/m², which guarantees a disinfection rate of 99.99% if the specified flow rate is not exceeded. The entire system is installed in an aluminum box. The dimensions are 600 x 270 x 380 (L x H x W in mm).
The battery can be charged using a solar panel, plug-in power supply unit or vehicle cigarette lighter.
